Light

My favorite picture of them all. The concept is strong to me and it just turned out very well. It is a light post with leaves reaching out to it
A light shined against a mirror behind me thus creating a giant shadow in front of me. I thought it was a good idea
Just a candle, not lit, with a light shining on it from beneath it.

5 Senses

This was one of my favorite pictures. The detail is very good. It represents the sense of sound because it allows the viewer to hear the sound of the water hitting the rocks.
Bowl of cereal. Represents sense of taste. A little dark.
Paintings to represent the sense of sight.
Droplet of water on a leaf makes me smell that fresh nature smell after rainfall, I like this picture a lot.
Sponges to represent the sense of touch, they have very unique texture which can be seen with the detail in the picture.

Landscapes

This was definitely my favorite project. Mostly because I got to be outside on a beautiful day and was also able to get some great pictures.
This is my favorite picture. I just love all the different components of it. There's also just something about farm country that I love.
This is another picture I really like because it gives a sense of nature, but the road is like a reminder of the connection between man and nature.
Here is a simple picture of some trees and shrubs, not my favorite.
I decided to get a little creative with this one and take a shot through a chain link fence. The cows are cool too
This is another one with the road in it, I like it. simple

Intimacy Project. My Family

This is a picture of my dad. I took it while he was lying on the ground, he didn't like that I was taking his picture... woops.
Here we have my sister attempting to study, she wasn't in a very good mood at the time so she didn't appreciate having her picture taken.
Another picture of my sister, a little dark and blurry. Not my favorite.
This is a picture of my mom, I like the contrast here because she was wearing a black shirt and we have a light carpet.
Another picture of my sister, this time she made a face at me... haha. She doesn't like this one.

Tilt Shift

This is a picture of my backyard from the view of my parents bedroom.
I took this from my front porch looking out to the street
My sister standing at the bottom of our stairs.
Just a fence where I work, I like the color of the wood and the trees in the background
Another view from our front porch, but this time looking at a bush.

Street Photography

I have no idea what he's pointing at, but I liked the kid's shirt so I snapped the photo while sitting in the car.
Another photo taken from the car, I saw him walking up in my rear-view mirror so I spun around in the seat and quickly captured the shot.
I saw this lady walking on the sidewalk at Bridgeport so I took her picture. She gave me a very strange look after that...
Also taken at Bridgeport, this photo is quite blurry, but I think the blur is necessary because it was obvious she was in a rush to get somewhere.
The kid's face had me sold for this picture. They were standing right across the street from me when I took it. Then the kid pointed at me..

Mosaic

My first mosaic type picture is of the fireplace in my living room. I like how it turned out, the differences in light make the wood look cool in certain places.
This is my second mosaic, taken of our dining room table. I stuck with the black background for this one.

Architecture

I took this picture looking up at the wall of a building. I was intrigued by the way the wall stuck out with the window.
This isn't my favorite picture, but I like the concept. I like the sharp angles, they add to the appeal of the picture.

This is, by far, my favorite picture. It turned out very well. I like the repetition of patterns and the shadows.

I made this picture my large print. I also believe it turned out very well, and shares many of the patterns from the previous picture. The contrasting shades are also interesting to me.

Architecture Warm-Up - Digital

This picture was taken in Sophomore hall, a close up of some wood ceiling pattern. I like this because it just looks cool.
This is the same as the on above, but I only took a picture of the corner with the lights.
This is a picture of some of the steel beams outside of the tech wing above the walkway.
This is just a simple picture of the ceiling in the commons.
Here is a picture of the outside wall of the tech wing, this is probably my favorite picture. The contrasting shades make it a good photo, in my opinion.
