SELF-Portrait

My favorite picture that i have ever taken. Simply because it took FOREVER to set up. It was worth it though, i made this my large print.
Me, lying on the floor. If you look closely, it looks like I'm missing teeth...
My first picture of the roll, i like it.. it was simple to do and it turned out pretty well.
Multiple exposure of me and the surface of my wall, i like it. It was a fun picture to take and it looks pretty good, despite the blurriness.
Contact sheet for the self portraits, not as many good ones as i had hoped, but still fun to do.

Bluuuuur

My sister, whipping her hair back and forth. FANTASTIC, i love this picture.
So here i decided to hold my camera out in front of me, spin in a circle and take the picture. i think it turned out pretty well, I'm a fan of the facial expression.
My contact sheet, many trial and errors with this project. i did like it though, it was fun.

Multiple... EXPOSURE.

This is my sisters' face on a plate. How did i do it, you may ask? Multiple exposure.. Enough said. i love this picture, its awesome.
This is the texture of my wall with the sink, i like it. i think it turned out pretty well and i love the texture.
This is a similar idea, but with the texture of our granite with a plate of bananas on top of it.
It may be hard to see, but this is supposed to be my sisters face on flowers...didnt exactly turn out the way i planned.
Contact sheet! I loved this project, lots of fun.

Portraits

Here is the contact sheet from the Portrait project, i love many of the pictures that i took. Unfortunately, many of the pictures were taken outside and didn't turn out. :(
This is the sandwiched picture, i dont like it very much.. didnt turn out well.
This is a picture of my lovely mom Laura. I love how this picture turned out because it has a lot of emotion imbedded in it.
Though slightly out of focus, i enjoy this picture. Especially since the lighting wasnt too great, it turned out pretty well despite though.
This is my favorite picture of the roll, its my neighbor's grandfather and i love the expression. Very nice man too, and i like how he didnt mind me taking pictures.

My Alphabet... FUN stuff

This project was very FUN.... Get it? Thats my word. Creative, I know. I did enjoy the project though, it was a great way to explore my creativity.

Here is the contact sheet from the whole project, I mostly took pictures of random things around my house and everywhere else I happened to be, like Sunriver.

Lighting Project!

Here is the contact sheet for the lighting project! I liked this project because I was able to create different shots for my subject (my sister and her friend) and I think they had fun helping me!
This is my dog in black and white with dramatic lighting. I love this picture. Personally, I am a fan of the surprised facial expression. The shutter freaked him out so he turned his head towards the camera.

Creepy, isn't it? Thats my sister behind a bed sheet hanging from the door frame of my parents closet with the lights out. The lighting in the background comes from the light from the window in my parents' bedroom. This was a very fun shot to take, I like how it turned out.

That's me! With a little bit of instruction, I handed my sister the camera and let her take a shot. I promised her she could if she became my subject for the project. It actually turned out pretty well, the lighting is good, and the quality isn't too bad either.

This is the contact sheet for our One Thing project, I really liked this project because I got to let my creativity take control and make adjustments to the lighting and angle of my shots.
This is one of the first pictures I took. I found the vase and fake flowers sitting on a table so I decided to use it as my subject. I like this picture because it turned out really well and the shadow stands out.
This particular shot is more of a close up, I tried to focus on the leaves rather than the vase itself. I like how it turned out, again the shadow is visible; which I like a lot.

More "Canera" Pictures!

This is the first pinhole I took outside the classroom, I took it in the South parking lot. My exposure time, I believe was about 7 seconds. I like the picture.
This is the inverted version of my pinhole outside. I really liked how it turned out.

"Canera" Pictures!

This is the negative version of the pinhole camera project, our FIRST photo project of the semester. The exposure time was 2 minutes 36 seconds. I really like the concept and it's very interesting to me how it works.
This is the inverted version of the pinhole camera project, I am actually surprised at how well it turned out. The quality of the picture is quite good.
